In 1977 June Noe and Ke Mahoe brought their son into the world and called him Makeio. He was loved and cherished by both of his parents, but as they were unmarried, he was given his mother's surname instead of his father's. They flourished as the little family they were surrounded by hoardes of his father's relatives who fed him sweets and tickled his chubby belly and ensured his happiness. Tragically, his father died one night out surfing drunkenly with some friends, leaving his mother to fend for herself. Feeling as if she had no other option, she packed up her four year old son and all of her belongings and flew back home to Boston, MA.

Mak was raised by his mother and grandmother, doted on and overprotective of him always. His mother married a military man when he was ten and they had a child together a year later, when he was eleven. A little girl that captured Mak's heart from their first meeting. He looked after Gabby over the years and felt a little reluctant to go off to college because of her. But after he graduated from high school, he went back to Hawaii to go to college. He attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo studying in the College of Business and Economics. That was where he met Marina.

They were 19 when they got married after just a month of dating. Their connection was instant and strong, as if they had known each other and loved each other in a previous life. She fell pregnant only a few months later. The baby wasn't planned, but wasn't unwelcome, either. They were young and married and they knew they could balance the load. When she went into labor, though, there were complications and for reasons he still doesn't understand, he left the hospital the next day without his wife or his son as both had perished during her labor.

It was only through a small miracle and the support of his paternal relatives that he survived his grief. He nearly did something as reckless as his own father had done, wanting nothing more than to join his wife and son in the afterlife. But he knew more than anything, that Marina would hate him if he took his own life. Doggedly, he finished his schooling and upon graduation was given the inheritance he didn't even know he was entitled to. Apparently, his father's side of the family came from a long line of Hawaiian royalty that had managed their weath wisely.

He returned to Boston and invested his money while he tried to overcome his grief and figure out what he was going to do with his life. When he considered joining a military faction, one of his friends convinced him to try the police academy first. He soon found that the structure and discipline necessary for the job was something he needed to re-focus his grief into something productive. He made a lot of friends through the department and the various branches that associated with it, and it began to help him heal.

He had a few significant relationships after Marina, but none of them lasted. He was too afraid to fully commit and found himself far too comfortable with the casualness he brought with him. Marrying again never crossed his mind, and though he consistently dreamed about his infant son, he contented himself with his nephews and niece and the children of friends to soothe his paternal aches.

cv bio Early Life Real estate agent Arthur Douglas, his wife Yvette, and daughter Heather, were driving across the Mojave Desert from Las Vegas to Los Angeles when a spaceship carrying the mad Titan named Thanos passed overhead on a surveillance mission to Earth. Wishing to keep his existence a secret, Thanos destroyed the automobile in case its passengers had seen his ship, and then landed to make certain they were dead. Satisfied that they were, Thanos left. Unknown to the Titan, his father Mentor had been monitoring his activities on Earth to examine his son's latest handiwork. Mentor discovered that Heather Douglas was still alive, and took her back to Titan to be raised. She later returned to Earth as Moondragon.[5] [read more]
